Bank Draft Plan
The City of Clinton would like to provide a convenient way to pay for City Services. The City of Clinton will work with your bank to automatically draft either your checking or savings account to pay your bill. Every month you will save time, a check, and postage.
It will take approximately 30 days before your bank will begin drafting from the selected banking account. If the authorization form is completed and returned before the 10th of the month, your account can be drafted for the next bill. Once the bank draft is in effect, the message "Account Drafted - Date" will appear on your monthly bill. The amount of your bill will be drafted on or around the 7th of each month after the billing date.
Set Up Bank Draft
To become a bank draft customer, please complete the Bank Draft Authorization Form (PDF). Include a "Void" check if you wish to draft from your checking account or a "Void" savings deposit/withdrawal slip if you prefer drafting from your savings account. Note: If you change banks, contact our office immediately to avoid delay in your draft.
The City of Clinton hopes you will take advantage of this convenient way to pay for the services we provide. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact the City's Billing and Collections Department at 910-299-4909. Please continue to pay your monthly bill until your bill states: "Account Drafted - Date".
